Humble

Iv'e met so many big people in my life. Many actors and musicians. Models and fashion designers.
The ones who were humble always remain in my mind and iv'e learned to push the ones with big egos out of my memory.
Life is too beautiful to be full of yourself. Everything you have can be taken from you in an instant. The ground can crumble under your feet and you would be right back on the level with the people you treated badly.
Iv'e never had an easy life, but I think it needed to be that way because I know God has something wonderful planned for me.
Being humble is what separates the great people from the people who get passed over.
My mother has always allowed me to be a wonderful being.
Creating and experimenting.
Whether I was putting on my grandmothers make up and cutting off my hair, or If i was wearing her shoes and sewing pieces of material together to make an outfit.
She never forced me to be regular. She never told me to conform, even now she looks at me and tells me I'm weird. But she unconditionally loves me and I know she doesn't mind.
My mother is the most humble person I know yet she possesses more strength and wisdom than anyone i've ever met in my life. She and my grandmother combined have molded me into the person I am. The creativity I possess and the honing of my talents are all because of them.
Because of them , whatever success I achieve will never swell my head. I have been through enough to know the value of being humble.
Whats the difference between these people....Diddy , Jay z ,Drake, Kanye west? Who is humble?
I think that when people see me They expect a certain person ..they see glam at times and they expect a high maintenance bitch who is stupid. But if you ever speak to me..there is way more to me than the surface.
That is why me sitting in my living room writing this blog...is a girl with short curls in her hair , no make up on and a smile.
This has inspired my Tattoo!!
P.S....Micheal Jackson was the most talented being ever...And the most humble gentle soul....A giant in his own right... R.I.P

What Ring??

Wedding rings are supposed to be a symbol of commitment right?
So why is it that soooo many married men don't wear them?
Is it that they still want to be adored by women....or maybe they don't want their boys to clown them.
Maybe their monthly cycle makes their fingers swell up while they are retaining fluid and......Oh sorry...thats women.
Anyway....It annoys me when married men don't wear their rings...
There are so many guys i've met who I think have been flirting with me ....but then i saw their wife walk in ...AND SHE WAS WEARING HER RING
SO....i'm here thinking was he flirting....or was it just me..Because I know I'm not crazy .
Also why should the woman wear her ring but the man doesn't have to?
Is it some sort of power thing?
Do men feel stronger by having the option of NOT wearing their ring...?

Let me know your thoughts...Im really curious
If you were or are married....would you want your husband to wear his ring?
If your a man...would you wear a ring or do you already wear it?

Every time you take a step if feels like your gonna keel over and die?

But if you already have the shoes in your possession and you need them to be stretched a bit , there is an old fashionista trick.

PUT THEM IN THE FREEZER! yes, put them in the freezer with a ziploc bag filled 1/4 way.

when water freezes it expands so when the ice is frozen , it would have stretched the shoes a bit.

So the next time there are a pair of shoes on sale and you NEED to have them ..but, they are a size too small...ice them

HIGH BUNS!!!!

When it comes time for me to go out and I have hardly anytime to get ready...
I always choose the high bun...sometimes with a bang..
NOW...this is assuming its one of the times that I have hair and it isn't cut off or fallen out from dye.
With the perfect makeup it can look so much better than any plain jane hair style. This style is good for an outfit that is strapless or has  an open or designed back. It even works great if your just trying to show of your decolletage .

Tattoos ....SEXY vs SKANKY

I love tattoos...I have 4 myself and I think that when they are put in strategic places and have meaning to them they can be awesome. But some people take it too far. They tattoo their necks , face sides, eyelids..hands...until they look like a creature....or lil wayne.
I think there is a thin line when it comes to tattoos and people should watch it. Even though the world is changing , some people are still closed minded and there are some things you might want to do in life that people will look down on you just because of ink.

Summer BODY!!!!!!!!!!!

The INFAMOUS summer body.
During the winter , I always gain weight. But, this winter I gained about 30 pounds.
I looked Like miss Piggy. No lies. I even have a workout tape..There it goes

But besides that....Getting fit for summer to fit into some of the great trends can be hard. It takes dedication,motivation, inspiration, perspiration...and alot of other words that end in ation.
Then I look at sexy chicks around me and wonder  "how the hell do they get their body like that".
sigh...this is my motivation

If that doesn't force me to work out....NOTHING WILL!

Swagger like MOI!

I am in Love with Erykah Badu in this picture. Her whole swagger is on point. But then I looked at it again and I said to myself "People might call this weird".
This is how I wish I could dress at times, Throw a bunch of random beautiful pieces together and go out the door. But I know people would talk alot of crap.
The question I have for you is.....
Should you care what people have to say about your sense of style?
Because if they tell you how to dress then you wouldn't be your own person anymore. You would be them.
